This was the last song that aushim composed and sang with us hence its a song that is special to us , the song was composed and sung for "Peepli Live" the film directed by Anusha Farooqi and produced by Aamir Khan , the song was a originally a poem by the famous Pakistani Poet N.M Rashid and was explained to us very painstakingly by Mahmood farooqi (a big thank you to him) . the lyrics are a bit complicated but the general idea of the song will be understood by all who have some basic knowledge of hindi and urdu .

Indian Ocean has been wanting to collaborate with artists from all over the world. We have played with other artists impromptu and live on several occasions (Shubha Mudgal, L Subramaniam, Rabbi Shergill, Kailash Kher, Kazutoki Umezu come to mind), but want to explore more formal compositional collaboration.
